Tips for Fixing Unexpected Hair Disasters

It’s easy for anyone to mess up when they’re trying to dye their hair or create a new hairstyle. If this has happened to you, don’t fret. These tips make fixing hair disasters easy.

A Messy Hairstyle
Does it feel like your curler or flatiron is turning your hair into a mess? One of the problems may be that your hair stylings tools are dirty. Over time, the products you use in your hair can start clogging up the pores on your hair styling tools. You can even be inadvertently transferring your old hair products back into your hair. To clean your hair styling tools, wipe them down with an alcohol pad or white vinegar. It works best if you do it while the tool is still warm. Once you have clean hair styling tools, you’ll be able to easily create the hairstyles you want.

Hair Dyed too Light
When many people dye their hair blonde, they end up with a shade that’s lighter than the one that they wanted. Luckily, fixing hair disasters involving dye isn’t too hard to do. Just apply a darker shade of the same brand of dye to your hair. Keep checking your hair in the mirror to see how dark it’s become. When it’s at the color you want, quickly wash the dye off.

Hair Dyed too Dark
Dyeing your hair too dark is another common problem. If you wanted brown hair but it ended up looking black, there are a few ways to lighten black colored hair. One of the easiest ways is to use a clarifying shampoo. After washing your hair with the shampoo, use a conditioner for color-treated hair. This should help wash some of the dye out of your hair, giving you a lighter color.

You can also use baking soda as a natural hair dye remover. To use it, mix half a cup of baking powder with half a cup of water, making a paste. Massage it into your hair and let it sit for fifteen minutes before washing it out in the shower. Afterwards, be sure to use conditioner, because baking soda strips hair of its natural oils. This baking soda paste is easy to make and a very effective way to lighten black colored hair.

These tips will help you quickly fix any sort of hair problems. Before you panic about your hair disaster, try one of these easy tricks. P.S: We are introducing our new Beauty advisor box across USA! The best part is, your first welcoming box is FREE and features two of our favorite products!
